New Range Rover Velar coupe to join brand’s SUV line-up

It looks like Land Rover are planning a head to head assault on rivals BMW’s X6, the Porsche Macan and Mercedes GLE by introducing a new vehicle into their own SUV line-up to be called the New Range Rover Velar Coupe. There is a gap within the Land Rover line up between the Range Rover Evoque and the Range Rover Sport which this new vehicle will slot into very nicely in both size and price range. History looks to be repeating itself as the very first production Range Rovers were produced under the Velar name.

It is thought that the introduction of this vehicle could take place at the forthcoming Geneva Motor show in March 2017. When it finally goes on sale is still to be decided because at this moment in time Land Rover are being very secretive about the new vehicle.
