On the 30th March 2016 we issued a post that stated Land Rover were seriously considering an SVX version of the New Discovery well before the various models were released in September last year. Well, true to Land Rover's word that has now become reality, the New Discovery SVX was premiered at the Frankfurt Motor Show on the 12th September 2017, described as the ultimate all-terrain Discovery with a 525PS 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol powertrain.

Land Rover are finalising the testing of a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport which is due to be available in early 2018. The petrol-electric models will feature Land Rover's 2.0-litre Ingenium engine with an Electric Drive Module coupled to an eight speed ZF automatic gearbox.

Land Rover has announced updates for the forthcoming Discovery Sport 2018MY. For the first time in the UK a new Ingenium Si4 petrol engine with two outputs will feature in this vehicle as well as a new uprated SD4 Ingenium diesel engine to compliment the current TD4 engines.

Land Rover has introduced a fourth member of the Range Rover family. Named the Velar it takes its name from the first prototype Range Rovers which were codenamed Velar nearly 50 years ago.

To celebrate six years of success, Land Rover has announced a new Special Edition Range Rover Evoque, to be known as the Evoque Landmark. The Evoque is certainly a success story with over 600,000 models built in the UK, whilst at the same time standing out as the most decorated Range Rover model having achieved more than 200 major awards.

Land Rover has very recently introduced a stunning new vehicle into its premium Range Rover line-up called the Range Rover Velar. The new vehicle was premiered at the Design Museum in London just prior to its unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show where it was classed as one of the best new vehicles to be introduced.

Land Rover have now released the All New Discovery, the fifth generation of this iconic vehicle. Vehicles with various drivetrains are now in the Main Dealer showrooms and the first vehicles are now appearing on UK roads.

Land Rover have introduced a stunning new vehicle called the Range Rover Velar, this new vehicle will be placed in the Premium Division alongside the other Range Rover models and will sit in to fill the current gap between the Range Rover Evoque and the Range Rover Sport. Released last week at the Design Museum in London and the Geneva Motor Show it has created an enormous amount of interest and rave reviews from both the public and motoring press.
