It seems that the long awaited introduction of the new Land Rover Defender is rumbling ever closer to being reality and launch in 2018. It seems at last this statement is official with the company's Chief Executive on record as already having driven various prototypes of the model and stating “I have driven test mules already and also tried the car against competitors, in on- and off-road environments.

AS OF THE 31st DECEMBER 2018 LAND ROVER NO LONGER OFFERS THE APPROVED SERVICE PLANS ON NEW VEHICLES. WE SUSPECT THAT ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE PACKAGE MAY BE OFFERED AT SOME TIME IN THE FUTURE.
